Jakarta, Indonesia – PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (Grand Batang City) received a significant boost with the arrival of its first investor in 2024. Sampoerna Kayoe, a renowned Singaporean company specializing in wood pellet production, has signed a Land Utilization Agreement for Industrial Land (PPTI) with PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang on Friday, April 19, 2024. Sampoerna Kayoe will occupy a 5.2-hectare plot with a total investment of US$25 million.

Sampoerna Kayoe's move signifies their strong commitment to contributing to Indonesia's industrial development. Sampoerna Kayoe, part of PT Sumber Graha Sejahtera, has a successful track record spanning 35 years. The company's "green product" and "green process" concepts have been key to its success.
