Batang, July 26, 2024 – PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) officially began operations with an inauguration ceremony led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, on Friday, July 26, 2024. This inauguration marks the commencement of eight crucial infrastructure utilities in the zone, including the Water Treatment Plant (IPA), Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL), Integrated Waste Processing Facility (TPST), Raw Water Reservoir, Apartments, Network Operation Center, Gas Station, and the KIT Batang Toll Gate.

Batang, July 10, 2024 – The earthquake that struck Batang Regency on July 7, 2024, has caused damage to homes and infrastructure in several areas. As a form of concern for the affected community, PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (Grand Batang City) has assisted in the form of 300 sacks of cement and 100 food packages. Present at the handover ceremony were Nana Sudjana, Acting Governor of Central Java, Major General TNI Deddy Suryadi, Commander of the IV/Diponegoro Military Command, and Lani Dwi Rejeki, Acting Regent of Batang, along with the Batang Regency Forkopimda.

Batang – The National Financial Accountability Agency (BAKN) of the Indonesian House of Representatives conducted a working visit to PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) on Monday, June 10, 2024, to discuss the utilization of State Capital Participation (PMN) provided through PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma (KIW), the largest shareholder in KITB. The visit was also attended by representatives from the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises.

Jakarta, Indonesia – PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (Grand Batang City) received a significant boost with the arrival of its first investor in 2024. Sampoerna Kayoe, a renowned Singaporean company specializing in wood pellet production, has signed a Land Utilization Agreement for Industrial Land (PPTI) with PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang on Friday, April 19, 2024. Sampoerna Kayoe will occupy a 5.2-hectare plot with a total investment of US$25 million.
